Made the lighted weight flywheele in local shop??

Hi Everyone, a friend of mine who take his stock flywheele from an MX-
5 to balance cut and light weight, he has a good result with it and I
was worry about how is everyone think if I put my stock flywheele to
let them cut??
What would be the advantage and disadvantage??
