Hi I have a 92 Legacy turbo 5spd and now is time for clutch
replacement, I am thinking to get myself a lightweight flywheele!
A friend of mine did a light weight his flywheele in the local shop
that light weight it and balance it, he has good result and no
problem for about a year!
Now my question are : is it worth to take off some matel from the
stock flywheele with cut and balance???
Or buy an after market light weight flywheele is more safe then cut
and balance??
I will replace a CenterForce clutch and a JDM EJ20G Legacy turbo
engine at the same time!!
Please help me out in this questions!!
Ben

Light weight it or not????
I would not take any material off the stock flywheel. Purchase a lightweight one. Dave just got one for his turbo legacy, and his 5spd swap. I'd seek his input.
