Bad noise at about 3k rpms

when I hit about 3k rpms in 1st gear, I start to hear a bad noise. It is soooo obnoxious. It is like a combonation of rattling and a bad bearing. It sounds like it is coming from under my seat. Of course, it doesn't happen at the dealer so I am on my own. I hear the noise all the time after 3k rpms in 1st gear and it gets louder if I press the clutch. Anyone have any idea? thanks.

most likely it's rattling exhaust shields.

I hate the mother f@#$ers. I torched the one off. The idiot exhaust guy tried to weld the one....but in the process put some nice holes in my mid pipe. It still rattles.

Easiest thing to do is jack the car up when cold and get under there and start shaking the heat shields....if you can rattle them....they'll rattle when driving...and usually worse.
