I did have noise when I start the car and after a week the shop told
me thats my crank bearing wron out and make the carnk pushing out
toward the crank pully.
I think you better make sure where does the sound come from, it maybe
just the valve lash noise.

Ben

In the last couple of days I have noticed some noise coming from
under the hood. The engine also doesnt like to rev too high now. It
sounds like noisey tappets or something like it. The car has done
135,000 kms. The noise is more apparent at idle when there is no road
noises.

Any ideas?

thanks
Stu

I will assume you have checked your oil and it is not too full or low...
These both cause your engine rockers to become loud.
