If you want the metal part, I have one from a 91. You can have it, just pay the shipping.

Re: Looking for a VF11

Thanks guys! Kind of glad I don't need one now, though. All it was was a stuck wastegate, it was fluttering like crazy and making some nasty noise.

Looking for a VF11

Trying to single out an issue, with what I believe is a blown turbo. So, if someone has a decent VF11 with little to no shaft play, I'd be interested. Lowish mileage would be nice. Thanks.

(3) Used KYB GR2's for sale

I have a set of KYB GR2's for sale. Will fit the 90-94 Legacy AWD, or a GC impreza. They have about 50k miles on them, rebound just fine. Problem with the 4 is the front left is blown. This here is why I only have 3. $100. I will ship just the 3 to save on shipping expenses if you don't want the blo...

Re: 91 saggy butt shims and one unit spring perch and strut

I have the 1" thick shims, and I was able to get the bolts snug to the studs without any issue. If you add a strut bar, you probably won't have an issue. It seems like there was still enough of the studs sticking out. Also, I used a tile cutting bit on a router to zip out the holes, and shape t...

Anyone from Oregon, but residing in CT?

I ask this because every time I come out of a store in a certain area, a blue Mini Cooper with Oregon plates, Yakima roof rack, and a kiwi sticker on the hatch parks next to my red SS. This has happened multiple occasions, in different locations. I'd say at least 5 times. So, I was just thinking its...

It looks like there isn't a 3rd brakelight in the rear window, unless it is covered up. So, quite possibly a factory option?

Re: Replaced steering rack line, now I have a weird shudder

Alright, thanks. That is what I thought the problem was, I just wasn't sure how many tries it was going to take to get all the air out.

Update: So I just took it for a ride since I bled it yesterday, and the problem appears to have been resolved.

Replaced steering rack line, now I have a weird shudder

So, after putting off replacing my leaky metal return line off the steering rack for what seems like ages, I finally dug into it a couple days ago. What a bitch. Taking off the nut on the steering box side was virtually impossible without a crows foot wrench. Not to mention, I pulled the axle out of...

Re: Buying New shocks, Use My Old Springs? OR Coilovers?

The pictures are probably just some generic picture, like a typical Ebay seller. Your stock springs will fit on any of those struts. I really wouldn't recommend the Tokico's, simply because the application is meant for an 02+ WRX, and the stance is different. They would work, but you'd really have t...

So here, to make up for my ignorant reply, here is a 90 Aussie wagon rear.

The external filter was/is an option, in addition to the internal filter which IS in all 4EAT Legacy's.

Re: Aussie Legacy hatch badge

They had neither. In the Legacy/Subaru garnish location, it is the mount for the license plate. The Aussie bumpers don't have the license plate cutout like we do.

95+ Legacys are OBDII.

So, your best bet anything after 1995 for a 2.2.
