I ordered the STI Group N engine mounts from the dealer. The brackets that come with it are slightly different from stock. I ended up using the STI engine mount and the stock mounting plate. All bolted up just fine. The other plates are just a little bit bigger and beefier. There was no need to use...

Wrong flywheel from Rockauto
Just letting you guys know don't order a new legacy SS flywheel from rockauto. They sent me the wrong one and now are making me pay for shipping so that I can get a refund for it. They won't pay for the shipping back because the "company" they got it from says it's the right one when I kno...

That's cool. I grew up in Eagle Point/Shady Cove, lived in Medford for quite a while, now I live in Springfield. I guess I'm the only active member in this area. That seems strange to me, seeing all the Subies driving around that I see. OR...nobody will 'fess up to living in this area. Couldn't rea...

It should. I think there may be a difference in the rear diff mount setup, but that shouldn't really matter. As he said it will bolt up, but you will have to use the 97 rear diff. Because the x-member is set up a little different for mounting. I could be wrong but i vaguely remember hearing you cou...

I would say this is normal. Mine did this when I had a 3in exhaust from the turbo back. These cars run rich in general. It's just the extra fuel igniting in your exhaust. It will destroy your cat, if you have one. But other then that it wont do anything. It's really fun when your driving by some one...

Re: Best spark plug wires?
You can use wires from a 93-95 Subaru Impreza or a legacy. They are the same.Mattheww044 wrote:I would like to get NGKs if possible but I didnt see any for the EJ22t. Is there another car that I can buy them for that would work for our cars?

I would go with new but that's just me. I don't know about interchangeable from different models. But considering how subaru's are lego's its very likely. I would agree about the price. Ok well a good way to make sure that it is the ABS. Pull the abs fuse. The dash light will come on saying you have...

Dash lights not working.
So the idiot lights/tachometer on the dash were working. But I go to turn the car on and they don't come on at all but the car starts up just fine. The defrost in the middle is barely lighting up like there is a short of some sort. I checked the fuses but none of them are bad. I am gonna bring out t...
