If ya don't want to buy a turbo xmember you can always pound it down and weld in a plate.

Your pictures didn't work. I wanna see this because I am running the STI group N mount and bushing. I had no problem with installing it. I just wanna see your pictures because maybe I got some weird plate or something.

This is really tempting. Would make getting a turbo a lot easier then finding a 90* one. Only if I had some money to burn.

Just wondering would this work with the earlier ej20g heads that ran the 90* bend turbo?

I ordered the STI Group N engine mounts from the dealer. The brackets that come with it are slightly different from stock. I ended up using the STI engine mount and the stock mounting plate. All bolted up just fine. The other plates are just a little bit bigger and beefier. There was no need to use...

Wrong flywheel from Rockauto

Just letting you guys know don't order a new legacy SS flywheel from rockauto. They sent me the wrong one and now are making me pay for shipping so that I can get a refund for it. They won't pay for the shipping back because the "company" they got it from says it's the right one when I kno...

It should. I think there may be a difference in the rear diff mount setup, but that shouldn't really matter. As he said it will bolt up, but you will have to use the 97 rear diff. Because the x-member is set up a little different for mounting. I could be wrong but i vaguely remember hearing you cou...

Any n/a exhaust manifold will bolt up as long as you get a two port one, which I'm assuming yours is.

Don't get a new one, it's not worth the money.

I would say this is normal. Mine did this when I had a 3in exhaust from the turbo back. These cars run rich in general. It's just the extra fuel igniting in your exhaust. It will destroy your cat, if you have one. But other then that it wont do anything. It's really fun when your driving by some one...

I'm in Benton and live in Corvallis as well.

Look for a 94 green Impreza wagon with a big FMIC and a v1-2 hood. in the LBCC parking lot. Give me a wave.

I know one of the guy's that does a lot of the lifted Subarus around Corvallis.

83 or 93? the title says 83 but your sig says 93. Try searching this place, http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/ it has alot of info on "older" subarus A little different set up as of where all the bolts are. But still pretty much the same way of going about it. So it doesn't really matte...

You can use wires from a 93-95 Subaru Impreza or a legacy. They are the same.

I would go with new but that's just me. I don't know about interchangeable from different models. But considering how subaru's are lego's its very likely. I would agree about the price. It is the abs unit trying to slow you down. You might need to replace them depending on the last time you did. By them I mean the part that is connected to the hub.

Is it a 5 speed or auto? Because to me it sounds like it could possibly be a clutch issue. That it starts slipping once you hit more then a few pounds of boost.

The tranny has more then one seal. If it's the front front seal you will. The other ones you can get to why it's in the car but it's easier to do it out of the car. To answer your question yes you will.

So the idiot lights/tachometer on the dash were working. But I go to turn the car on and they don't come on at all but the car starts up just fine. The defrost in the middle is barely lighting up like there is a short of some sort. I checked the fuses but none of them are bad. I am gonna bring out t...
