Tail light compatibility

Hey there,
I have a post-facelift 1992 Legacy, and both tail lights are pretty much damaged.
Can I put the tail lights of a 1991 Legacy on my 1992, or have there been any changes apart from the design?
Thanks,
Peter

Ok, great, that's exactly what I thought.
Only problem is to find something to connect the spring to, but I think that I can find a solution for that.

If someone still wants to upload pictures of how it should look like, that would be great! :-D

[Futurama-mode]Good news![/Futurama-mode] :-D

The keyless entry system works fine! I just had to take the key apart and clean it out, and now it all works!

That's exactly why I'd like some pics of that thing, because the service manual says something about a "release lever return spring" that has to be removed when adjusting the clutch play and refit afterwards.

Keyless Entry

Hi, I have a question about the keyless entry system of my 92 Legacy: Are the enter-key-by-pulling-doorhandle-system (no better way to describe it right now, it's 1 am over here :-D ) and the infrared-transmitter-in-key-system controlled by the same unit? Because on my Legacy (which came with factor...

Clutch Release Lever (Mechanical Clutch)

Hey there, as you may have seen in my other thread, I may have some problems with my clutch. Today I had some time to take a look at the car, and also checked the clutch release lever. This is what it looks like: Image 1 Image 2 The lever was held to the extreme left (seen from driver's position, bo...

you could also just have clutch chatter, you said it stops when the engine stops revving up; how slowly are you letting out the clutch? if you're easing off of it slowly it might chatter. Sounds like that's the problem. I bought the car yesterday, and on my 100 km drive home I had time to analyse t...

If I would have to name the direction of the vibration, then I'd say it's an up and down vibration.
It's not some kind of movement, you can just feel the steering wheel vibrating (and the rest of the car, but it's most noticeable in the steering wheel).

I think it happened in both cases (I only had a short test ride), but I'm sure it happened when there was engine braking only!

Vibration when shifting down

Hello, I'm new here and I'm about to buy a 1992 Legacy 2.2 (136 hp) 5 speed manual. There is just one problem: When shifting down and engaging the clutch (i.e. when there's engine braking), the steering wheel starts to vibrate. After a while, when the engine isn't reving up anymore, the vibration st...
