But now I have a regular type 8-5 job. Mmmm I can't wait to drink some coffee when I get to work tomorrow.

Also putting in stiff suspension the weekend before I start a regular commute wasn't a great idea. I could have had a nice smooth ride all summer. Oh well. It's so much more fun this way.

I think I'll put in my new steering rack bushings tomorrow.

Well, that's enough late night rambling in the ashtray.

I'm a total night owl. I love being up at night. Now that I have kids it's really hard though. I get the rest of the family to sleep and then I just can't bring myself to go to sleep. It's the only time I get to myself anymore. I'm always tired as hell because of this though.

I also suffer from mild insomnia. It comes and goes but sometimes I just can't sleep no matter what. During these insomniac periods I become kind of manic and zombie-ish too.

If I could go to bed at 4am and get up at 1pm everyday, I would be complete.

If you plan something after those bushings, you're going to be late for it. I can promise it will take a bit longer than you think, but it's worth it :D

Doing it again, i could have both bushings in in 20 minutes if i cut the drivers side one in half like i did.

Conclusion: Since you have already done it, and if you down a Rockstar, the install will take less than 1min.

Going to bed early tonight. This can be the late night legacy central thread. Whoever posts last in the day wins. People in other continents don't count.

Ha

Man, I finally installed those steering rack bushings today. The driver's side took forever to get in, and I cut it in half beforehand. Also I noticed my steering rack boot was cracked. Sweet.

Yeah, I couldn't get the rack down far enough to slide it in easily, and I took off that little skid guard thing and both mounts. The problem was the steering linkage wouldn't let me move the rack down far enough.

I've been up late alot since the semester was over. I wish we had more than six hours of darkness here. It sucks when it gets light out at 4 am.

Woooo. Still up. I think it's because I'm all hopped up on grease and caffiene after the double double and three refills of coke I had tonight at the West LA Thursday night Subaru meet.

Okay, Impreza meet. There, my dirty little secret is out: I occasionally hang out with nasioc people. The first time I said it's just be that one time because it was supposed to be the "official ITN rally photoshoot." Next think you know I'll be trading in the Legacy.

Here's a picture from two weeks ago with me in front of about 12 WRXs:

I'm still up too. Got new rims and tires Leg GT rims and avs es100s, BEOTSCH! and went to a dyno night. Got to gawk at a bunch of bmws and i want a 95 m3 so bad it hurts; gotta keep reminding myself that they have tall ass expensive engines and chassis tuning has gone from art to science.

I stay up way later than necessary. I think I'm becoming more nocturnal.

How are those avs es100s?

Our friend has a 95 M3. It's in amazing condition. NADA value has gone up $3000 since he bought it last winter
