Yeah....Got home today and when I Parked the car it was Idling at 2K. Then after A while it went back to normal, then it jumped up again, then went back to normal. WTF?!?!?!

Could this be an IAC or TPS Issue?? It's really annoying the fuck outta me. Ill be driving and stop at a light and the car is trying to accelerate  .

Coolant temp sensor? When you say it is trying to accelerate, do it just go to 2k everytime and then stop there or keep going up?

It stops at 2K, When the car is in drive it is at 1-1.5K. I don't think it's the coolant temp sensor.

Well, since the summer heat is on I've noticed that it seems to idle high when it gets hotter out. And since a coolant temp sensor is WAY cheaper than a new IAC, im going to try that.

I just replaced a coolant temp sensor yesterday and it cured my shitty running issue...My car also had an infrequent high idle problem, and so far, I haven't seen it recur...so it's worth the $36 for the CTS.

How come it seems like all our sensors are strangely interconnected to how the car runs??

Thanks for the offer Phil, I think im gonna pick up a temp sensor today, and hopefully that will be the cause of this annoying idle problem.
