SeaFoam: How-To?
I'm going to go out tonight and pick me up one or two cans of seafoam. Now, I was searching and read that I should feed it through one of the vacuum tubes into the intake. Could someone tell me where that is? Or, point it out in a picture? I have plenty of pictures of the engine of my car.

I ran it through my PCV valve, that way it got to a "centralized" point in the intake manifold.
I think I just picked up a generic hose and slowly poured it down the hose.

I just put it in the small hose directly on top of the throttle body . Bought a generic vacuum hose and let it suck it out of a cup.......

The only reason I don't recommend this is because of the coating on the internal part of the throttle body. There is a black coating that helps against carbon build up, and does provide some amount of sealing at the throttle body.....and seafoam might deteriorate it.IronMonkeyL255 wrote:I just put it in the small hose directly on top of the throttle body . Well, I ran it through the PCV valve...At first I tried just doing it from idle...it stopped the engine! So, I borrowed a friend and I got him to hold it at about 2k while I poored the stuff down in. It didn't smoke nearly as much as I thought it would, it also didn't make black smoke..just white. I'm assuming then that I didn't have much carbon buildup?
BTW, that stuff smells a lot like alcohol.

Right behing the coil pack, on the left (if you're facing the engine from the front), there's a tube that runs from the manifold down to the crankcase. It's plastic and doesn't move easily. If you smell the valve, it should smell like oil.
