I know several years back before I got back into working out regularly I had issues sleeping.
I do. I would say that exercise definitely helps me.... but only the right kind. It helps if I tire myself out in the afternoon. But anything after work just wakes me up.

A 10 or 12 hour workday helps me sleep well. A day of classes or other boring sitting-around type stuff...not so much.

Yes, you can pursue healthy ways of wearing yourself out. When I used to run I would always sleep deeply.
