AGX problems

Post by 555BCTurbo »

Alrighty...so I am aiming this at the resident suspension experts (you know who you are)

I just installed a set of brand new AGX struts intended for the GC Impreza. They fit fine...except my left rear hub is at positive camber. I stuck my rear camber bolts back in and it is still positive or neutral at best. I am getting tire rubbage on that side, and I am dumbfounded as to why.

I would assume a bent strut, but they are brand new. Anything else y'all can think of?

Were your old struts like this?

If not, the only thing i can think of is a bent strut or something not sitting right with the strut & top mount.

No, everything was hunky dory with the old stuff (apart from the fact they were blown WRX struts...)

I can't imagine why a brand new AGX would be bent...

I am definately interested in the tophat idea...I will have to do some investigation

Maybe the strut was bent during shipping. What else did you change?
