Taillight removal help?

Post by SPUMONI_RT »

I cannot get my tail lights out. I removed four 8mm nuts, each light assembly. Is there more nuts? Are the just stuck on? Thanks.

They're sealed on. Pull carefully or push evenly on the studs.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

Yup. The sealant is a black gooey substance kind of like windshield setting tape or the stuff that holds the plastic covers over the doors behind the door panels. If you're careful with it you can just reuse it when you reinstall the lights.
