turn signal issues

Post by crashnburn »

so i have a 91 ss. it has a aftermarket steering wheel and i have noticed that the turn signal remains on and does not turn off after completing the turn. I have to manual turn off the turn signal. Is the clockspring damaged? or is it because i have a aftermarket steering wheel?

It's because of some 'piece' that was supposed to come with the JDM WRX wheel. Unfortunately, the guy didn't have it when he sold me the wheel.

i think you are referring to the clock spring. does anyone know if a clock spring from a different Subaru will work or does it need to be from the same vehicle.
