Engine Question???

Okay so the original owner of my car screwed the crap out of the engine supposedly he kept filling the radiator with water instead of antifreeze and it rusted and corroded the crap out of all the water ways to the point that the water was getting into the engine needless to say it was finish! so after searching far and wide i finally found an engine with low miles but it was only an EJ20 but i said whatever and dropped it in! so my question is what am i loosing out on??? is it a lot weaker then the EJ22 how dose it compare??? should i keep looking 4 a 22 or just leave it in??? whats your opinion?? thanks

Can you provide a little more details. Is this a turbo or non-turbo car? Was the EJ20 from a non-turbo car as well?

yes its all N/A the EJ20 as well as my car
