FS: OR - 92 Legacy AT Right Hand Drive - $800

Post by ballzak »

I used this beast for rallycross this season for 3 races and it ran phenomenally well. Only mechanical issue it had was the power steering reservoir cap popping off. It's a long way from a show car but has been maintained well. I bought it a few months ago in pretty poor shape and dumped quite a lot of money into her to keep her race worthy. I highly recommend an alignment and new front right bearing.

I will be as honest as possible regarding the condition and issues but I'm don't want to hear a bunch of low ball offers and people spouting on about opinions of what the think might be wrong with it. You can't diagnose a car you've never seen.

I have a cold air intake on it now. It caused the check engine light to come on occasionally but I have a stock airbox, just need MAF housing.

It's got unknown miles. (I think it says 180k now) Lady I bought it off of said after the last transmission rebuild the odo stopped working. Speedo and tach work just fine. It was used as a mail truck for most of it's life. I've replaced both front axles and a bad ball joint on top of spark plugs and other common maintenance.

It's stuck in front wheel drive mode. I know it has a fuse box for it but I never figured it out. The car did amazing in the All Wheel Drive race class considering.

Interior isn't in great shape but all the controls work.

I had big plans for this car but my buddy used it to spank my WRX so as punishment, I'm selling it for a crappier car next season.

I spent $900 on the car and dumped about $600 worth of work into her so I'm ASKING $800 (Firm but let me know what you got) . I know for sure I can part it out for way more because RHD parts are expensive and hard to come by.

Car is located in Hillsboro, OR. Email me myballzak(at)gmail(dot)com for the quickest response.

I want, but sadly I'm flat broke and don't have a job. So a free bump for right hand drive awesomeness and a great platform for a twin turbo swap. GLWS.

Ha. i'm sure with an alignment it would make it down there no problem but that's just too far out of my way.

I'm avoiding putting her up on craigslist because I really want it to go to a subie enthusiast.

Well let me tell you a bit more about it. The last guy said it was too beat for him. I'll say the pics posted do the body some justice. If you're looking at turning this into a nice looking car, you will have your work cut out for you. Interior has seen better days but on the plus side, I just tested the AC and it blows ice cold. Tape deck works too! You'll have no problem rockin out to those old Sir-Mix-Alot cassettes.

It's an $800 car can't expect the best. My wagon looks as if the previous owner kissed a guard rail on the freeway so I'm not worried. I've got some plans but I'm thinking my touring wagon is a little too beat for me. The only thing I don't like is that this doesn't have a sunroof. But I can get over that. I've got a huge collection of tapes. I'll bring down some foreigner to rock to haha.

Sorry man, it was the first guy that checked it out a few days ago that came through. It also had a 48 hour move notice from the city since it was in the street.
