How different are the oil pumps year to year. I have two, one I can't get to spin and the other seems ok but it's old and I feel better with a new one. Auto zone, and oreilly's do not carry the oil pump. Will this one work need it by Friday.

Re: Oil pump
Well your car came with a shimmed 10mm oil pump, same thing as the STI uses. That one I'd guess is either a standard 9 or 10mm pump. It'll work, but an STI one would be better.

NASIOC or the dealership but I buy all my OEM parts from 1stsubaruparts.com which usually has the best prices.

Yes. You'll find that the STI oil pump part number has replaced the SS one.RckyMtnLegacy wrote:Ok I will look. So basically all will bolt on the insides are different? So a 2004 sti oil pump will work?

Re: Oil pump
Any EJ oil/water pump will fit. But go with the STI one for better performance.
