91 SS turbo "power" light flashes ?? help

hey, so every once and then ill hop into my car turn it on perfectly fine, but the little light in the middle of my console that says "power"blinks a bunch of times then stops, ive noticed no difference in the car when this happens, kinda weird, anybody had this happen and know what it means>'

Its transmission related




I'm not sure what else triggers it, but mine flashed because there was electronic failure in my center diff causing it to be locked instead of active, this caused torq bind in low speed cornering.

That's letting you know there is an active fault and a code stored in the TCU. Here are instructions on how to retrieve the code.

I also had this problem but never figured out what caused it. I was curious about the fluid and found that trans pan gasket was leaking so i replaced that and filled it up with new fluid and the problem never happened again.

So i would at least check the fluid condiition and the level.
