my problem is I'm used to usign the loud pedal to get the rear out, and invariably I end up getting sideways too quickly, and going too fast. I think I just need to work on timing and anticipation. I've been to a rally-X or 2, but I need to practice way more.eastbaysubaru wrote:You don't really need the hand brake to get the tail out in loose situations. The brake pedal usually does the trick. You've just got to figure out how to transfer the weight accordingly. Perhaps a little scandinavian flick? Combine that with a little brake pedal and the tail should come right out. RallyX's help a lot for figuring out how to pivot the car on the front.
