Apparently it isn't getting fuel.....

Post by IronMonkeyL255 »

Apparently, my engine isn't getting any fuel.

I pulled the outlet hose from the fuel filter and turned it over and no fuel came out.

I haven't tried it with the inlet hose yet.

I may have to replace the fuel pump.

If I do, is there a good, relatively inexpensive upgrade for our pumps?

get the walbro. people here have, and love them.. most likely worthwhile, since you DO have a turbo.
Correct me if I'm wrong, someone, but i think it's the WRX -341 pump that works for ours..
is that right?

Is it straight-up drop-in, or just about?

Got a site that has it so I know just what to look for?

anyone know how much a replacement regular fuel pump would be?

dunno.. but the walbro runs about $80-$85.. not too bad.. OEM, which DOESN'T flow up to 255lph is probably somewhere different...
Yes, its a drop in, if you get the right model.. otherwise, there's some wiring issues.. ask Douglas.(douglasvincent) or even Phil, BAC5.2

The exact part number is GSS341, I did the searching for you. :D
Look in the Vendor Garage, and see if you can get your fuel pump AND support LegacyCentral members!
