Dyno graph for the SC wagon. 152 hp and 159 torque

Post by douglas vincent »

Finally I have some numbers to back up my little red wagon.

I tested it on the dyno located at Matrix Integrated in Portland Oregon. It is a Mustang Dynometer.

I first ran a baseline run without the supercharger. Max power was 75.7 hp at 5250 rpm. Max torque was 92.5 at 2750 rpm. Power and torque were most likely much lower than they should have been because airflow is constricted due to having to flow through the supercharger and intercooler, plus I was retarding timing 4% between 4000 rpm and 6500 with my DIS-4.

Then came the supercharger pulls. I did two pulls and they were identical. 152.3 hp at 5500 rpm and 159.1 torque at 4250 rpm. I will post the dyno sheet in a few hours and possibly the video if I get it converted.

I was closest without going over, what do I win? :D

With some tuning, I'm sure you could get better.

This is all on a stock NA ecu. I was pulling 4 degrees of timing between 4000 and 6750 rpm.

If I could actually tune the damn thing with a real stand alone, I bet I could be pretty damned impressive. Maybe, cause you never know, maybe I am maxed out as it is.

Can't wait for the rallyxross on sunday. Gonna kick some WRX ass.

My torque curve looks like your N/A torque curve, and my power curve looks like your SC torque curve after it peaks.

I just found my bogging problem today. Dirty fuel pump sock. I replaced it and wow does the wagon run better all the way around.

I can imagine I would have had a much better output on the dyno with proper fuel flow. Durn it.

Wow, they are identical, excepting of course for the hp and torque numbers.
