Did you swap seatbelts, or do you still have your automatic ones.
I ended up removing the seatbelt control unit after my swap to get it to turn off.

i have the same issue... it happened right after i did my tranny swap thought and i still have the autos.

Probably need to jump something so that it thinks your belt is constantly latched.
